Dating from around the 17th century, Maison La Roque is a
stone built house sitting below the chateau near the top
of the village.
The accommodation is very spacious and sleeps nine people in comfort. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. Downstairs there is a breakfast room and a living room with an open fire, games, widescreen TV witha CD/DVD player and a JBL HiFi system to which you can connect your iPod or similar. From this room, french doors lead out to the terraces and swimming pool. Next to this room is a library that has French and English novels, reference books, dictionaries, maps and local information. This room is connected to the central terrace and a large dining room with an ajoining fully equipped modern kitchen with an American fridge freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and large hob. Off this room is a utility room with cleaning equipment, a washing machine, tumble dryer and additional toilet and shower. There is also a large vestibule for coats and shoes. Outside there are four terraces, palm tree and plunge pool; on the lower level is a garden accessed by a spiral staircase.
If you need to stay in touch, you can connect your laptop to our broadband ADSL using ethernet in the living room, or via WiFi/Airport using the WPA password which can be provided on request.
Unfortunately we have no wheelchair access and guests should be confident negotiating some narrow stone stairs. There are also some low beams so please mind your head.
Well behaved pets are allowed, but please check beforehand.
Please always ensure that children are supervised in the pool and that it is locked after use.
Smoking is not allowed inside the house.
