Dating from around the 17th century, Maison La Roque is a
stone built house sitting below the chateau near the top
of the village.
The accommodation is very spacious and sleeps nine people in comfort. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. Downstairs there is a breakfast room and a living room with an open fire, games, widescreen TV and a CD/DVD player. From this room, french doors lead out to the terraces and swimming pool. Next to this room is a library that has French and English novels, reference books, dictionaries, maps, local information and a computer for simple internet access. This room is connected to the central terrace and a large dining room with an ajoining fully equipped modern kitchen. Off here there is also a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and and additional toilet and shower and vestibule for coats and shoes. Outside there are four terraces, palm tree and plunge pool; on the lower level is a garden accesed by a spiral staircase.
If you need to stay in touch, you can connect your laptop to our broadband ADSL using ethernet or WiFi/Airport or use the computer provided.
Unfortunately we have no wheelchair access and guests should be confident negotiating some narrow stone stairs. There are also some low beams so please mind your head.
Well behaved pets are allowed, but please check beforehand.
Please always ensure that children are supervised in the pool and that it is locked after use.
Smoking is not allowed inside the house.
