Dating from around the 17th century, Maison La Roque is a
stone built house sitting below the chateau near the top
of the village.
The house has a breakfast and dining room with a Nespresso coffe machine and a range of teas. Next to the breakfast room is a living room with an open fire where games, a widescreen TV and a DVD player are available. There is also a library room that has French and English novels, reference books, dictionaries, maps and local information. Outside there are three south facing terraces where you can have breakfast, sunbathe, or relax under the palm tree by the new pool. On a lower level there is a garden with lavender, pomegranate, fig and olive trees, chairs, loungers and a parasol for shade.
The house makes an ideal centre for those interested in organising small workshop holidays and extra facilities can be provided for this. Contact us if you would like further details.
If you need to stay in touch, you can connect your laptop to our broadband ADSL using WiFi/Airport using the password provided on request. Ethernet connection is also possible in the living room.
Unfortunately we have no wheelchair access and guests should be confident negotiating some narrow stone stairs. There are also some low beams so please mind your head.
Well behaved pets are allowed, but please check beforehand.
Please always ensure that children are supervised in the pool and that it is locked after use.
Smoking is not allowed inside the house.
